About Us
The Western Mindanao Times (or commonly known in Mindanao as Western Times) is a community newspaper based in Oroquieta City , Misamis Occidental with circulation in Lanao, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental and reaching to as far as Zamboanga Sibugay.
First came out on 2005, the Western Times returned publication on May 2009 after a brief dormancy caused by internal re-organization of staff.
The Western Times News regularly publishes once every week with 2 special issues to come out every month. The printed paper comes in full color pages and in tabloid size paper.
As of September 2009, the Western Times has the widest reach among local newspapers in Northern and Western Mindanao.
