NAVARRO KIN SHOT DEAD
PAGADIAN CITY- The younger brother of Santiago Punong Barangay Ronaldo 
“Toto” Navarro was killed in Pagadian City on August 7, 2009 around 10:40 p.m.
The killing was carried out by still unidentified van-riding suspects using high-powered firearms while the victim was inside his Toyota Vios along Duterte Street.
the victim instantly died after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds all over his body. A companion, Victor Navarro closely escaped death as he survived several gunshots .
Dozens of .45 pistol and armalite shells were recovered by investigating police authorities at the cirme scene.
Punong Barangay Toto Navarro strongly condemend the killings which he believes to have something to do with the earlier accusations by “certain” government authorities against their kin for their alleged involvement in illegal drugs trade which he vehemently denied.
Another brother of him reportedly suffered the same fate as Victor Navarro in a separate incident a month ago by still unidentified assailants.
meanwhile he urged the authorities to fast tract investigations and hoped for the swift delivery of justice to his fallen brother.
